You can also use the on screen virtual keyboard osk.exe, which shows the keyboard layout in the chosen language and you can type by clicking on the required character (if you change the language, it changes when you hover the mouse over it). Just to make sure we are doing the same thing, I have the language bar on the taskbar (showing just the language icon), left click on it to show the language options that were added in Regional and languages applet, click on a language to change the keyboard the chosen language shows in the task bar (EN/ HE for English or Hebrew). Seems to work each time and stays at the selected language. Use language bar to switch to Hebrew, type top line of keyboard: The language bar is showing English (UK) type the top line of keyboard Of course it types right to left in Hebrew, left to right in English. No problem in switching repeatedly between English and Hebrew, here or in Word (part of Office Pro XP, SP3) or even Notepad. I don't use Hebrew, but to check it out I installed it and added it to the languages on the language bar. I also have English (US) showing as an option. I use the language bar to switch from English (UK) to French or German without problems. You add languages using Control panel, Regional and Languages settings. Actually, the language bar is part of Windows XP, not Office.
